Current State of Mind

It's been a month since I left my job and I'm not gonna lie - I've been having mixed emotions. There's happiness, relief, excitement, regret, anxiety, sadness, and a lot more! Some may think that my decision was very abrupt and careless. Okay, I respect that but this is something that I've been thinking about and wanting to do since the beginning of year 2016. I knew that I want to take a break after grad school. If I could afford to take a gap year, I certainly would! When I graduated, I thought I wouldn't be able to do this because of so many reasons so I tried to shrug it off. Come August, it came back haunting me so I told myself if I don't do this now, when? It might be NEVER. And that's when I handed my resignation letter to my manager. I've never felt so free when my last day at work came! That's when I knew I made the right decision. Yes, there are still times that I fear what might happen but I just keep reminding myself to take things one day at a time. I quit my job without a potential job in the future but cliche as it may sound, things happen for a reason. I believe that what's for me is for me no matter what. I guess I'm in the stage if trying to find what I really like and trying things that interest me. Don't get me wrong, I love being a nurse but I also love to travel and photography/videography. There's just so many things in life that I would love to do and try!

When I told my mom about it, she agreed right away! My dad's respond was neutral. He just asked me if I was sure of what I was doing and I explained the reason behind my decision. I'm so lucky to have a a group of friends and family that support me!

This entry might seem all over the place but I guess what I'm trying to say is...if you really want something, you have to actually do something to make it happen. Don't let the fear take over to do something you love! Learn to take risks!

The Beginning of Summer '11

Right after finals week(which happened to be the 2nd week of May), I hurriedly finish packing all my things for my summer vacation. I was so excited! After packing, I got on Banner Web to check my final grades...2 out of the 3 are there and I was more than happy with the grades I got. Checked later for my last grade but it wasn't there yet. Went to the park with some friends to have a chit chat and to stop thinking about my grade. Here are some pictures...

Attended my friends' pinning ceremony and lucky me, I saw my prof there. I immediately asked her is I passed and she replied, "Of course you did!" I was the happiest girl that day!

 We then went to Chili's after to have a light meal. And as of this moment, I want some of this Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie!!!

Of school and whatnot

Yes! Yes! Yes! I finally got into my school's nursing program. On April, I received a letter telling me that I got in to the program. I was so damn happy! So, I school started on the 23rd of August and the first three weeks are the busiest weeks ever. Every week, I have exams and quizzes in almost all of my classes. Got my results for the first set and they're pretty good so far. I just need to remind myself to stay motivated and procrastinate less(cos I know for some reason, I won't be able to stop doing it haha). I'm loving the program and I'm really excited to go to clinicals because we will start 2 weeks from now.

There are some things that are about to change, too. And I'm really really really excited about those. Hopefully, they will all push through. *keeping my fingers crossed*

I hope my best friend gets a job here already.

Coming Back

I thought I was done with blogging but last night I found myself coming back to Blogspot.

I started blogging around 2003-2004 and I've been to Xanga, Blogspot, Freewebs, got hosted by Care, back to Blogspot, got hosted by Michelle, then I finally got my own website. I had Forever Random for 2 years before I got tired of it and didn't care much about it anymore. I thought of keeping it or changing the URL and still stay with Wordpress but I don't really use it that much so it would just be a waste of money. Right?I also thought of just doing video blogs but that would still need a blogspace so I just decided to put up a new Blogspot site. Being a lazy ass, I know there are times that I would just want to write instead of making a video blog.

Mmm, I love new beginnings.
