5 Things That Are Currently Making Me Happy

No matter where I am or what I have in my life, I remind myself that there are always things to be grateful for.

1. Grad School I just received my acceptance letter a few weeks ago from the school I applied to for grad school to become a nurse practitioner. I start on January!

2. November Can I just say how ecstatic I am about this month? So many plans, birthday events (including mine), and happenings going on!

3. Sweater Weather I love the cold days and nights!

4. Gilmore Girls Currently watching this series on Netflix.

5. Vacation In less than two weeks, I'll be heading to the Motherland and it's going to be fun and crazy! Can't wait to see my family and friends.

Live for the Moment

Tick tock.Tick tock.Tick tock.

I hear a familiar sound while I try to open my eyes. I blink my eyes once, twice, then thrice until I see what's around me - darkness. Where am I? How did I get here? Where is everyone? I’m just here alone laying in bed while staring at my ceiling surrounded by darkness. As the clock keeps on ticking, everything that was a blur is slowly redeeming its clarity. Everything around me became familiar and made sense. Yesterday’s gone and now it's time to live today's journey. What seemed to be great and exciting started to fade away. All alone here, it got me thinking. Where did time go? It felt like everything just happened yesterday. All the fun and laughter now felt melancholy…

But wait, why am I feeling this way? I should be grateful because yesterday’s memories are memories that I will forever have and remember. As I lay here and recollect those experiences, I can’t help but smile as it reminds me of the blissful moments and the people in it. They may never happen again so make sure to live for those moments.

Like some people said, "Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened."

Hello, Monday.

Yes, I changed my hair color from brown to black. Having light hair is just too hard to maintain for me. I can't keep up with all the retouching plus I'm trying to making it healthier since I'm growing it out (for now). I'm so tempted to get my hair cut though! I got so excited last week because it got really cold. You know, boots and coats weather but today, I woke up and it felt so hot. I can't wait for the cold season!

I hate my big calves. :((

I've been listening to Maroon 5(again) hence the title post. I will forever love lace! See that cute necklace right there? Isn't it cute?! Plus, it's thrift-ed! Hee! These were taken a few days ago. I dyed my hair black last night and I like it! I know I'm going to miss my light-colored hair but it's just so hard to maintain(for me, at least). Alright, that was a lot of rambling...back to studying. *facepalm*
